Leon is a Brussels-based, nomadic workspace with dance as its unifying force. It is not just the dance productions themselves, but above all the processes leading up to them, that are important. This is where the true participatory work lies, along with the power of encounter and connection.
At Leon, we believe in the power of dance as a means of social connection. Through our work, we aim to create a space where everyone feels welcome and can move freely.
Atelier Leon
Atelier Leon is a participatory dance workshop for children, young people and adults. Free from existing role models, Leon invites you to express yourself through dance and movement. No dance experience is required, and there is no need to register. Just come along and join in.
Every Saturday 10:00 > 12:00 at Maison des cultures/De Loods, 1080 Sint-Jans-Molenbeek
(except during the school holidays)
Leon’s Summer
Summer is a time full of dance activities and new encounters. You can bump into Leon in public spaces and join in the free dance workshops with live music, which are open to all ages.
For children, we organise week-long creative workshops. We move, we play, we dance, we discover, we connect, we learn, we create. Fancy dancing in the street? Come to Brussels and beyond this summer.
